SK gas is building the world's first LNG/LPG combined cycle power plant in Ulsan (Ulsan GPS). Ulsan GPS will use LNG and LPG as clean fuels. In addition, SK gas is pushing forward with its cutting-edge power generation project which will fulfill both the environmental requirements and the needs of stable energy supply as well as profitability by using both LNG, the supply of which has been strengthened in the global market, and LPG, which will be ensured to maintain a stable supply at reasonable prices based on the company's 35 years’ experience.

Ulsan GPS is under construction in the Mipo Industrial Complex in the Yongyeon district (Bugok, Ulsan) with a total power generation capacity of 1,122 MW and plans to start commercial operation in 2024. In addition, the LNG import terminal is scheduled to commence commercial operation simultaneously along with its completion of construction, in order to enhance the profitability of UGPS and provide a stable fuel supply.
