SK gas is operating LPG storage terminals with a combined capacity of 470,000 tons in Ulsan and Pyeongtaek to ensure the smooth supply of LPG to the domestic market. They are managed and operated by a team of LGP experts who have abundant experience and superior know-how.
Ulsan terminal, as one of the world’s largest rock cavern storage facilities, is capable of holding a total of 270,000 tons of LPG, including 140,000 tons of propane and 130,000 tons of butane. In addition, the terminal - the hub of Korea’s LPG industry - is equipped with berthing facilities for vessels, ground storage tanks, and distribution facilities for the supply of LPG across the country.
Pyeongtaek terminal can store 200,000 tons of LPG - including 140,000 tons of propane and 60,000 tons of butane - and supplies LPG to the Seoul Metropolitan Area and the central region.
Leveraging LPG handling experiences and terminal operation competencies, SK Gas has been engaged in a Gas Trial service, whereby technical checkups and technical supports are provided on all LPG carrier ships prior to departure, and Gas Free, a service offering interim checkups on LPG carrier ships.
